Terms and Conditions: Ca Go Bike Contest for the Eurobike 2024

 

By participating in the competition, the user agrees to the following conditions of participation and responsibility for content. 

What can you win?

Three prize packages, each consisting of a pair of Ergon GS1 Evo grips, a Joeblow Urban EX air pump from Topeak and Ca Go merchandise items, will be raffled off as part of the competition. The three winners will be selected at random from all participants who have duly fulfilled the conditions of participation after the end of the participation period. You can also find the competition prize in the Instagram post by @cagobike, also known as Ca Go Bike.

What is the duration of the contest?

• July 2, 2024 - July 7, 2024, until 11:59 PM CET

Who can participate?

Participation is free of charge and open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old and reside in Germany, the EU, or North America. Participation requires the truthful provision of relevant data. Contest clubs and automated contest services are not eligible. Please participate only once. Multiple registrations do not increase the chance of winning as they will be filtered and excluded from the draw. Employees of Ca Go Bike and the participating companies and their relatives are not allowed to participate in this contest.

Who is excluded from participation?

Ca Go Bike is entitled to exclude individuals from participation for justified reasons, such as violations of these terms and conditions, multiple participations, manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Legal recourse is excluded.

How to participate?

The participation requirements for the contest can be found in the respective Instagram contest post.

How are the winners determined?

The winners will be selected by random draw from all participants who have duly met the participation requirements after the deadline.

How will I know if I have won?

Winners will be notified by direct message from Ca Go Bike after the contest ends. Additionally, winners may be mentioned and tagged in a comment or story by Ca Go Bike. After notification of the win, winners have 3 business days to contact Ca Go Bike via direct message and provide the necessary data for the prize delivery.

How will I receive my prize?

With the win notification, the winner will be asked to provide Ca Go Bike with the contact details necessary for sending or delivering the prize. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided. Ca Go Bike will send the prize to the provided contact details.

What happens if I don't respond after being notified of the win?

If a winner does not contact Ca Go Bike within 3 business days after being notified, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a new winner will be selected from the eligible participants. The same applies if a winner provides incorrect contact details to Ca Go Bike, making it impossible to send or deliver the prize.

Reservation clause

Ca Go Bike reserves the right to modify, interrupt, or end the contest at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. Ca Go Bike will only make use of this option if proper execution of the contest cannot be guaranteed due to force majeure, technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in hardware and/or software), or legal reasons. Ca Go Bike is not liable for losses, failures, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. In justified cases, the prize draw may be suspended or replaced with equivalent prizes.

Privacy policy

To send the prize, we need to process personal data of the respective winners (first and last name and postal address). Processing is done internally solely for the purpose of sending the prize and complies with German and European data protection laws. Personal data is treated confidentially and will not be used for marketing communication without the participant's consent. No personal user profiles are created. First and last names and postal addresses will be deleted after successful prize dispatch.

Other

Cash payment of the prizes is not possible. Prize claims cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individually provisions of the terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions remains unaffected. An appropriate provision that most closely reflects the purpose of the ineffective provision will replace it. The contest is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
